Three months after adopting our second child (I was 34 years old) the doctor told me I had Systemic Lupus and had about 5 years to live.
After picking myself up I told my husband we didn't adopt these kids for someone else to raise and I was determined to do that myself.
Because God made me allergic to drugs, I sought nutritional products. I was taking 25 bottles of vitamins. My husband and spent from $150 to $500 a month to keep me alive and nothing relieved my pain. I gave up in 2001 but my husband didn't. Mom, I Have AIDS

It was after midnight when the phone rang. When I picked it up, I thought “wrong number”. Not at all. It was my son’s girlfriend. She said, “He has been crying all day. Please speak to him.” “Put him on,” I answered, and my heart went out to him when I heard his voice.
He could not stop crying. “Mom, I have AIDS. A couple of days ago, I went to donate blood. It was tested, it’s the law, and they said I tested positive for HIV. It was tested twice more with the same results.
Mom, I don’t want to die.”
My first response to him was “Is that all?” I asked him, “Do you trust me?” and he answered, “You are the only one I totally trust.”
And so I told him to follow my instructions exactly and listen to what I had to say. I will call the company to send you the Sea Vegetable/Aloe Vera Supplement and you must take it religiously as I tell you. He agreed. So next morning, I did call the company to send him the Sea Vegetable/Aloe Vera Supplement. I told my son and his girlfriend to take 4 oz. the Sea Vegetable/Aloe Vera Supplement in the morning and also in late afternoon or evening. I also told my son that I would send him a second bottle and he and his girlfriend needed to repeat the process, even though his girlfriend did not test positive.
